Who wrote this article? I was raised in the LDS church and am a fan and friend of Robert! How dare you put down a person of his character and integridy! I believe the LDS church teaches good principles but one thing that will never change is the fact that you all think your so much better than others and if other people are not members there evil! News flash - there are plenty of good Christians that are not Mormon. Your conservative ways are pothetic! Conservatism shows signs of fear and non adaptation to change, it's one way with you people! Think outside the box for once! You talk about Robert and put down his achievements only because you have none well the man that matters is the doer, not the mere critic who talks from the sidelines while the brave achieve greatness in statue and character! A story comes to mind from the LDS church about the iron rod and the people that were mocking and criticizing the saints for holding to the iron rod. Well the majority of you people are the criticizers pointing fingers yet you claim everyone else is! That's hypocracy in it's purest form! It's you that need to not only hold to the iron rod but you need to walk the line! You should be ashamed talking about Bob that way! Think about it!!

What was Pres. Elect Obama thinking when he asked Gov. Granholm for advice? It seems that we would be better off if he ignored her. Both seem to be abandoning their unproductive policies at least in part. My question is, if the need to resist tax increases now and a need to cut expenditures now is a good idea, why would it not be beneficial later? Even more confusing is, why would it not have been beneficial two years ago.

Pres Bush has vetoed a limited amount of bill, thus he "votes yes" to the vast majority of legislation that crosses his desk. Therefore, most senators would be voting with Bush. Unless of course you vote present which is a favorite activity of the chicken Obama. Even though this all has become irrelevant with the election last week. I just pray to God Obama doesn't irrevocably destroy our country.

I find it interesting that the very people who demand tolerance and acceptance are dishing out intolerance and condemnation. That’s not the way to make friends in communities they seek acceptance from.

However, on the flipside, isn't it great that the interfaith coalition is supporting us and standing with us even when we're obviously the unpopular target?

Los Angeles interfaith leaders voiced their support for the LDS church this afternoon, saying: “The peaceful faiths, families, educators, activists, and community servants who make up the protect Marriage Coalition are saddened to hear of the continued targeted attacks on the Mormon people during and after the conclusion of this fair and certified election. Like many churches, the family is the anchor of the LDS faith and it is no surprise that its members in California joined other faiths in giving everything they had to Proposition 8.“

Believe me Averageuscitizen evil, the guy had no idea when Obama was walking down his street that he would end up where he is now. Simple because he was used as an example his life is now being destroyed by the wonderful and caring people in the democratic party. I hope this back fires in their faces when men just like Joe the plumber go out to vote on November 4th!

Joe didn't have to put himself on television, but it's great free advertising for his business. I have a small business too. Can I get some free national advertising from the Repubican party too? I'd love that and they can take a look at my business license...it's all in order. About Sarah Palin. She doesn't have to drag that poor baby around with her in the middle of the night into screaming crowds to score points...or maybe she does, but when you open the door and use your kids in your stump speeches, you should expect a few tough questions. She does have a husband who could put the baby to bed at a normal hour and a daughter and future son in law who could obviously use some lessons in personal responsibility.

I couldn't agree more with Medved's reasoning here. We live in a time where people are trying to find answers to questions whose answers lay far beyond the scope of government and politics. Check out DC123:12-15

"It's true that social conservatives sometimes feel such fervent religious enthusiasm that we allow our faith to spill over into the political realm."

Surely this notion could have been more aggressively understated.
